Kos: Aegean Adventures

Trip description:

Welcome to an unforgettable sailing adventure from the picturesque marina in the old town of Kos! This fascinating journey takes you to the beautiful waters around the island of Kos, located on the northeast coast of the Aegean Sea.

Set sail from the historic marina in Kos and experience the beauty of the surroundings. The city itself offers a rich history spanning millennia. Numerous significant sites await exploration, including the famous Asklepieion of Kos and the imposing 14th-century Knights Templar fortress of Neratzia.

The city of Kos not only boasts a rich history but also fascinating archaeology. The earthquake of April 23, 1933, which partially destroyed the downtown area, revealed the remains of the ancient city with the Agora. This historical area is now freely accessible to visitors. The findings from subsequent excavations, conducted by Italian archaeologists, are exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of the city.

Another highlight in the city center is the Plane Tree of Hippocrates, named after the famous physician Hippocrates of Kos. This majestic plane tree stands in the heart of the city and is a symbolic location.

Book your exclusive catamaran sailing tour from the marina of Kos now and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Aegean while discovering the history and culture of this fascinating island. Our experienced team looks forward to making your sailing adventure an unforgettable experience.
